Failing Molar Root Canal, Digital Dentistry – The surgeon extracted the lower right first molar and placed a dental implant with a bone graft. After three months of implant healing, a digital impression was obtained and the dentist designed the abutment and restoration using CAD technology.  A custom titanium abutment was manufactured using CAM technology.  The restoration is porcelain fused to zirconia.
